mwegValkenburg è una località mwewolandese situata nel comune di mwfaKatwijk, nella mwfqprovincia dell'mwfgOlanda meridionale, a sud-ovest dell'mwfwOude Rijn, fino al 2006 comune autonomo.

Nel territorio dell'odierna Valkenburg si trovava l'antico mwgqforte mwggromano di mwgwPraetorium Agrippinae, i cui scavi archeologici hanno riportato alla luce un gran numero di preziosi reperti. Durante la mwhaguerra degli ottant'anni, il centro fu mwhqcampo di battaglia nel febbraio del 1574 fra le forze mwhgspagnole e quelle mwhwanglo-mwiaolandesi, nel contesto della campagna militare dell'mwiqassedio di Leida.

Viene spesso confusa con mwiwValkenburg aan de Geul località olandese che ospitato per cinque volte i mwjacampionati del mondo di ciclismo su strada.
